Abstract
Research and reflections on the Quran is one of the most important recommendations that the Almighty God has repeatedly emphasized.. For this reason, scholars of the Qur'anic sciences has long been concerned with the subject, because the Quran, is the guidebook of all mankind for all history. Consequently, a better and more accurate understanding of the Qur'anic verses and their action depends on understanding its words, expressions, and interpretations. One of the key words that can help us to understand the Holy Qur'an in depth is the word "Bayyenah" which will be discussed in the present article by its descriptive-analytical method and its functions in the Holy Quran. The results of the studies show that the word in question is first used in the primary sense as a semantic synonym with the word "verse (miracle)" and its secondary meaning (reason, authority and distinctive) is established among the Muslims .The results of the studies show that the word in question is first used in the primary sense as a semantic synonym with the word "verse (miracle)" and its secondary meaning (reason, authority and distinctive) is established among the Muslims .word
