Photographs as a historical document respond to human curiosity. Portrait photography is one of the branches of photography and is a modern way of expressing the face of people in which the inner message of the person is expressed according to the state of the face. Arabic is the language of images. Words express meaning in depth. In the words of the Holy Quran, there are images that artistically convey the meaning to the reader. Sometimes Qur'anic words represent a face that indicates states of sadness, joy, hatred, anger, or fear. These states can be seen in the faces of people in the resurrection. To achieve the portrait of these faces, we need a scientific method, such as the science of face reading, which is used in the world as a psychological method in recognizing people.
The science of face reading expresses facial expressions based on the appearance and lines of the face and introduces the personality of a person through the science of psychology. Paul Ekman and Wallace W. Firizan, two theorists, studied the science of face reading. They showed how to recognize these basic emotions with a large number of photographs of people's faces that show feelings of surprise, fear, joy, hatred, anger, and sadness. In this article, according to the descriptive-analytical method and relying on the theories of the two in the science of face reading, we obtain the portrait photos of people in the mentioned situations in the doomsday scenes. Another finding of this terminological research; Which is very effective in instilling the meaning of verses and their interpretation in the mind of the reader.
