The Holy Quran has utilized different technical and aesthetic principles in order to affect its audience. Characters are one of the most important fictional elements; sometimes characters have a positive role that are referred to as a hero and sometimes have negative dimensions that are known as antihero. In order to depict the hero’s positive aspects in a better way, sometimes antiheros are employed as an axial role and sometimes they have a supplemental role. Moses’s life story is one of the Quranic stories in which in a contrasting image of good and evil, we confront a hero- antihero characterization. In Moses’s story, antiheros, are people such as Pharaoh, Haman, Qaroun, Pharaoh’s court witches and Samaritan that in the form of different characters help in formation of evil frontage while interact and complement each other. Pride, secularity, domineering and ignorance are demonstrated in the form of these characters. In present article, antiheros’ characterization in Holy Quran’s narrative style has been analyzed through a descriptive- analytic method and it is determined that the antihero’s role is addressed from activism perspective and his/ her opposition to the hero’s reformist function and varieties of major, famous and supporting antiheros are created in this prophet’s mission path that in turn distinguishes an aspect of the hero’s mission.
