Today, in linguistic studies in the field of word meaning, there are two types of attitudes: the first attitude is the in-time attitude; It means examining the meaning of words historically and the second attitude: it is a contemporary attitude; That is, examining the meaning of words regardless of history and examining the semantic relationships between them, including semantic relationship, semantic inclusion, opposition, linear order relationship, and causal relationship. In the Holy Qur'an, some words have gone out of their cultural and lexical meaning and have found a mystical meaning, and this type is often found in words that are used for tangible phenomena and natural beings. The present essay examines the symbolic meaning of the names of animals in the Holy Quran with a descriptive-analytical approach and based on the knowledge of temporal and simultaneous semantics. The results of the research show that often these words have kept their symbolic meaning in the texts before the revelation of the Qur'an and the texts of the Islamic period, and in the Holy Qur'an, they appear in accordance with the structure of the verses, and based on the knowledge of temporal semantics, between the words It contains symbolic meanings, there is a type of semantic inclusion relationship, causal relationship, linear order relationship, and verbal opposition.
